The 2027 SuperMotocross calendar will feature 28 rounds
San Antonio and Baltimore join the Supercross schedule, followed by 11 Pro Motocross rounds and three SMX Playoffs.

Feld Motorsports and the SMX League have announced the 2027 American SuperMotocross schedule. It brings together 28 rounds: 17 in the Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship and 11 in the AMA Pro Motocross Championship. The season starts with Supercross in January, moves outdoors from late May, and concludes with three SMX Playoffs in September.
Two first-time Supercross cities
The indoor championship begins on January 9 at Angel Stadium in Anaheim and finishes on May 15 at Rice-Eccles Stadium in Salt Lake City. Across 16 cities and 13 states, the calendar links established stops in California, Arizona and Washington with rounds in Texas, Florida, Indiana and other parts of the Midwest and East Coast. San Antonio gets its first series date on January 30 at the Alamodome. Baltimore follows on April 10, with its debut taking place at M&T Bank Stadium. FanFest is scheduled for every round except the Detroit event on February 20.

Ken Roczen starts the 450 campaign as defending Supercross champion. Jason Anderson, Jett Lawrence, Chase Sexton and Cooper Webb are among the established names chasing him, with last year’s runner-up Hunter Lawrence also in the title picture. Former Main Event winners Justin Barcia, Aaron Plessinger and Malcolm Stewart add further depth, while Haiden Deegan begins his rookie season in the premier class. The 250 field includes returning Eastern Divisional Champion Cole Davies and former winners such as Levi Kitchen, the newly crowned SMX World Champion.
The American Motorcyclist Association will set the dates for the East/West 250 divisions and the Triple Crown events at a later stage.
The outdoor championship and the SMX Playoffs
Pro Motocross enters its 56th season with 11 rounds, 22 motos and events in 10 states. The opening round is scheduled for May 29 at Fox Raceway in Pala, and the finale will take place on August 28 at Ironman Raceway in Crawfordsville. The route also visits Hangtown, Thunder Valley, High Point, RedBud, Southwick, Spring Creek, Washougal, Unadilla and Budds Creek.

Hunter Lawrence will defend the outdoor crown against Jett Lawrence, Chase Sexton, Haiden Deegan and Jorge Prado. The series will also mark the U.S. outdoor debut of Belgian twins Lucas and Sacha Coenen. Lucas is slated for the 450 class, while Sacha will compete in the 250s.
The SMX Playoffs are set for September 11, September 18 and September 25. The third date is the World Championship Final. Venues for all three rounds are due to be announced in January, while presale registration is scheduled to open on October 6.
