Royal Enfield opens applications for its 2027 Build.Train.Race. season
Twelve women will earn places across separate flat-track and road-racing championships, with motorcycles, preparation and mentoring included.

Royal Enfield has opened applications for the 2027 edition of Build.Train.Race., its all-women programme combining motorcycle construction with competition. The initiative brings riders from different backgrounds together in North America, with separate grids for two championships: Flat Track and Road Racing. Both series will run across multiple rounds in the United States and support major events on the country’s motorcycle-racing calendar.
The selected participants will each receive a Royal Enfield motorcycle and turn it into their own race bike. Royal Enfield and its partners will support that conversion, while mentors from the manufacturer will provide training for both disciplines ahead of the season. The format is designed to give the riders practical involvement in preparing their machines as well as time in competition, rather than treating them as conventional one-make series entrants.
Who can apply
Road Racing has six available places for applicants from the United States, Canada and Brazil. Flat Track offers another six places, open to applicants from the United States and Canada. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and need motorcycle experience, but they cannot previously have held a professional-level racing licence. Since the championship includes several rounds across the United States, successful riders must also be able to accommodate the associated travel requirements.
Adrian Sellers, Royal Enfield’s Head - Custom & Motorsport, said the company would assess the stories, experience and talent shown in each application. He described the six places in each championship as an opportunity for the selected racers to demonstrate their abilities to a global audience while seeking a route into motorcycle racing. Applications for the 2027 roster are being accepted through the Build.Train.Race. website, buildtrainrace.com, until October 19, 2026.
