Petrucci weighs MotoAmerica and WorldSBK options for 2027
Attack Performance Yamaha has approached the two-time MotoGP winner, while GoEleven Ducati remains a possible WorldSBK route.

Danilo Petrucci’s 2027 racing future remains open, with the two-time MotoGP race winner still having options in both MotoAmerica and WorldSBK. BMW has decided to replace him with Brad Binder in the world championship for next season, leaving Petrucci to consider his next move.
BMW is said to have offered the Italian a place in its MotoAmerica team, but that proposal was withdrawn in favour of another rider. In WorldSBK, Petrucci has been discussing a possible continuation with GoEleven Ducati. The team is also reportedly considering Alessandro Delbianco, the 2026 CIV Superbike champion, with backing from Pata.
A proven American alternative
Another route has emerged through Attack Performance Yamaha, which has approached Petrucci after winning the 2026 MotoAmerica Superbike title with Bobby Fong. Petrucci already knows the championship well. Racing for Warhorse HSBK Ducati in 2022, he won five races but finished behind Attack Performance’s Jake Gagne in the title fight.
Petrucci said the approach from Attack Performance appeals to him because he wants to keep racing in an environment he enjoys and one that gives him motivation. He also made clear that neither possibility is fully defined yet, with both teams still needing to provide further information. His 2027 destination therefore remains open between MotoAmerica and WorldSBK.
