5.11 Triumph Factory Racing completed its third AMA Pro Motocross season with the strongest 450MX moto result yet for the TF 450-X. At the championship finale at Ironman Raceway, Mikkel Haarup finished fourth in the opening moto, a career-best result for the rider and the best moto finish recorded by the motorcycle.

Haarup started the opening moto strongly and completed the first lap in fourth. Within the next few laps he moved into third and held that position for most of the race. A mistake in the final turn cost him the chance to fight for a moto podium, but fourth still marked a new high for both Haarup and the TF 450-X.

His second-moto start was less effective, although he entered the first turn inside the top 10. An error around halfway through the race dropped him outside that group. He continued to the finish for 14th. The 4-14 scorecard put him 10th overall at Ironman and ninth in the 450MX championship standings, with 246 points.

Smith recovers from second-moto mistake

Jordon Smith finished 10th in the opening moto after battling for ninth. The supplied race account says he crossed the line ahead of the defending champion. A mistake immediately after the start of moto two left him outside the top 20, but Smith recovered through the field to finish 13th.

His 10-13 scorecard placed him 12th overall at the Ironman round and 11th in the championship, with 191 points. Those 2026 results also secured playoff places for both Triumph riders in the 450SMX postseason field, extending the team’s campaign beyond the AMA Pro Motocross finale.

Prado wins the 450MX finale

Jorge Prado won the final 450MX round with a 1-1 scorecard. RJ Hampshire and Cooper Webb completed the podium, while Hunter Lawrence and Eli Tomac finished fourth and fifth respectively. In the championship standings, Hunter Lawrence led on 474 points, ahead of Jett Lawrence on 472 and Haiden Deegan on 404.

The SMX World Championship postseason is next. Its first playoff is scheduled for Columbus, Ohio, on Saturday, September 12. Jeremy Coker, General Manager of Triumph Racing America, described the day as positive, pointing to the team’s speed and ability to run at the front as well as the progress made across the season. The TF 450-X is also listed with a starting price of $10,695; the supplied evidence does not establish pricing or availability in Greece.
