Ducati takes the Desmo450 MX to Arenacross in 2027
Ducati UK will back an official team and the Desmo450 MX Factory across all six rounds of the British championship.

Ducati will make its Arenacross British Championship debut in 2027, entering an official team backed by Ducati UK. The operation is scheduled to contest all six rounds of the indoor motocross series, putting the Desmo450 MX Factory into competition after its earlier appearance on the show floor.
Ducati displayed its motocross machinery at the 2026 Arenacross event in Birmingham. The 2027 campaign will be different: it will be the first time Ducati motorcycles line up to race in the championship. Ducati UK sees the programme as a chance to expand its British motocross presence, gain experience in indoor competition and build a closer connection with the country’s off-road racing community.
A new operation for the 2027 series
Anthony Revell, founder of Stolen Brand, will establish and manage the team as its principal. Revell has spent several years in action sports and says he has wanted to run an Arenacross team for some time. Ryan Gregory, Ducati North Europe’s marketing, communications and PR director, said Ducati expects to face experienced teams and riders, while treating the programme as a practical step in developing its motocross presence and experience.
Promoter Matt Bates described Ducati’s entry as a significant addition to a championship built around indoor racing and live entertainment. The accompanying Dirt Bike Live Show gives manufacturers access to fans and a platform ahead of the outdoor season. The team’s rider line-up has not yet been announced.
The 2027 championship will comprise six rounds in three cities, with a £150,000 prize fund. Birmingham hosts the opening meeting at bp pulse LIVE on 6 and 7 February. The series then moves to the O2 Arena in Belfast on 12 and 13 February before reaching its finale at P&J LIVE in Aberdeen on 26 and 27 February 2027.
