CFMoto MT Challenge 2026 world final set for Huelva
Twenty teams and 80 riders will use identical CFMoto 1000MT-X motorcycles in technical tests and a route longer than 300 kilometres.

Huelva will host the 2026 CFMoto MT Challenge World Final, scheduled for 26–28 September. The Spanish venue will bring together 20 teams from 20 countries and 80 riders in total. MotorBike.gr reports that this will be the first time the event’s final has been held in Spain.
The participant schedule begins on Friday 25 September with arrival and registration, followed by the motorcycle draw, venue familiarisation, briefing and welcome ceremony. Organisers will supply four CFMoto 1000MT-X motorcycles to each country, allowing every competitor to ride the same model. That arrangement reduces the influence of mechanical preparation and puts the emphasis on riding technique, navigation, pace consistency, endurance and teamwork.
Two tests, two different demands
Saturday’s Venue Challenge will take place in specially prepared areas. The course elements will include technical sections, mud, water crossings and sand. Raw speed will not settle the contest: riders will have to interpret the terrain accurately while keeping a large adventure motorcycle under control through demanding and confined sections.
The Adventure Challenge follows on Sunday 27 September. Its route will exceed 300 kilometres and combine forest dirt roads with asphalt sections. Rather than using a traditional race format, it will test navigation, regularity of pace and the ability to adapt as the surface and conditions change. The two tests therefore place different demands on both rider and team.
The CFMoto 1000MT-X is presented as the brand’s new maxi-trail flagship within the MT family. At Huelva it will move from tight sections with obstacles, mud and sand to a long route mixing off-road terrain and paved roads. MotorBike.gr describes the final as an international showcase for the model, while the competition format points toward a broader measure of performance: the strongest team will be the one that combines technical skill, navigation, endurance, regularity and coordination most effectively, not necessarily the one with the fastest riders.
