Beatson Bikers raises more than £36,000 in Scotland
More than 1,300 motorcyclists joined a 38-mile charity ride that started at the Moulsdale Foundation Museum.

The 2026 Beatson Bikers ride raised more than £36,000 for Beatson Cancer Charity, bringing together over 1,300 motorcyclists from Scotland and elsewhere in the UK. Riders followed a 38-mile route around Glasgow before arriving at the charity’s centre.
For the first time, the event began at the Moulsdale Foundation Museum. Before the ride, participants could look around the museum’s collection of more than 400 cars and motorcycles. It also gave visitors access to racing machines associated with Ian Simpson, Steve Hislop and Jim Moodie, adding a substantial motorsport element to the gathering.
Mackenzie joins the charity ride
Niall Mackenzie was among the riders. The former 500cc Grand Prix competitor and three-time British Superbike champion said after the 2026 event that he was proud to line up with the other participants and contribute to a fundraiser intended to support Beatson Cancer Charity’s work. Visordown reported his comments after the ride.
Beatson Cancer Charity supports people affected by cancer across west Scotland. Its work includes funding research, improving clinical care and providing wellbeing and support services for patients and their families. The Moulsdale Foundation and companies owned or controlled by David Moulsdale have contributed more than £36 million to charitable causes in the UK and overseas. Moulsdale said that bringing motorcyclists together for organisations such as Beatson is central to the foundation’s mission.
