Valencia set to host the 2027 MotoGP finale
Circuit Ricardo Tormo will stage the last round of the season on 26–28 November.

Valencia will host the final round of the 2027 MotoGP season. The Valencia Grand Prix is scheduled for 26–28 November at Circuit Ricardo Tormo, maintaining the Spanish venue’s longstanding place at the end of the championship calendar.
The choice continues a strong pattern in the modern era of the series. Since the four-stroke era began in 2002, only the 2020 and 2024 seasons have finished somewhere other than Valencia. MotoGP deputy CEO Carlos Ezpeleta highlighted the combined effect of the circuit, the city and its supporters, describing Circuit Ricardo Tormo as an ideal setting for bringing another season to a close.
Juanfran Perez Llorca, president of the Valencian government, also stressed the importance of the event for Circuit Ricardo Tormo and the wider Valencian Community. He said hosting the World Championship finale recognises the work of the organisers and the fans who continue to support the Grand Prix’s growth.
The first 2027 dates
The campaign will open in Buriram, Thailand, on 5–7 March, one week later than the 2026 opener. The Thai circuit will therefore host the start for a third consecutive year. Before that, a condensed pre-season testing schedule is due to conclude by mid-February, with the season launch planned for Brazil on 21 February.
MotoGP is expected to publish the rest of the 2027 calendar on 25 September. The 2026 championship is scheduled to finish in Valencia on 27–29 November. That date moved back by one week after the Qatar round was shifted to November, prompting corresponding changes to the Valencia and Portimao dates.
