Trackhouse MotoGP is bringing 1936 into its ownership group after the global sports and entertainment investment platform acquired a significant minority stake in the American team. 1936 joins Trackhouse founder and CEO Justin Marks and Avenue Sports Fund as shareholders. The financial terms of the agreement have not been disclosed.

Marks says the investment gives Trackhouse scope to put more resources into several parts of the operation, including its racing effort, brand, storytelling and the wider Trackhouse experience. The deal therefore reaches beyond the immediate needs of the MotoGP programme, offering an additional ownership partner as the team develops its identity and commercial presence alongside its work on track.

Charlie Raposo, 1936’s founder and CEO, views MotoGP as a championship still near the beginning of its commercial development, despite its established global audience and strong fan engagement. 1936 intends to work with Trackhouse towards a leading presence both on and off the circuit. MotoGP came under Liberty Media ownership in July 2025. Trackhouse entered the championship in 2024 by taking over RNF’s grid places, and has won grands prix this season with Ai Ogura and Raul Fernandez.
