Trackhouse Aprilia will take a new Gulf design to the Indonesian and Malaysian MotoGP rounds, with the livery drawing its identity from the Ford GT40’s racing heritage. Ai Ogura and Raul Fernandez will race their Aprilia RS-GP 26 machines in the scheme at Mandalika and then at Sepang.

The project marks Gulf’s 125th anniversary. Its main visual reference is the Gulf-liveried GT40s that won the Le Mans 24 Hours in 1968 and 1969, while period-style race numbers complete the design. It also represents Trackhouse’s first use of Gulf colours since Mugello.

Trackhouse owner Justin Marks linked the appearance to the major Le Mans battles of the 1960s and 1970s, when the GT40s and Porsche 917s helped establish Gulf’s racing identity. Mike Jones of Gulf Oil International UK Limited said the livery brings the brand’s competition history together with its direction for the future.

The presentation arrives with both riders in a competitive position. Ogura is fifth in the world championship and Fernandez seventh. Aprilia also performed strongly at Mandalika last season, where Fernandez scored his first Sprint podium. The Indonesian return therefore combines a major visual tribute with a meaningful sporting backdrop for Trackhouse.
