Tech3 KTM will bring Senna Agius into MotoGP for 2027, giving the 21-year-old Australian his premier-class debut alongside Luca Marini. Agius arrives with four Moto2 race victories already on his record.

His promotion also marks Jack Miller’s departure from MotoGP. The Australian will complete a 12-year premier-class career at November’s season finale in Valencia. Miller has won four races in MotoGP and will then switch to WorldSBK after losing his Pramac Yamaha seat to Izan Guevara.

Agius had hoped to share at least one MotoGP season with Miller and described the missed overlap as disappointing. He regards Miller as a close friend and as a major reference point for Australian riders, crediting him with setting the standard for the country’s motorsport talent over many years.

The newcomer says he is proud of the responsibility and wants to represent Australia properly. With Miller moving on, Agius is expected to be the only Australian on the MotoGP grid when the championship races at Adelaide’s new street circuit for the first time in 2027.
