Toprak Razgatlioglu will line up at the back of the grid for the Indonesian Grand Prix after being handed a three-place penalty. The sanction stems from the warm-up, when the Pramac Yamaha rider travelled slowly on the racing line at Turn 16 and impeded Marco Bezzecchi.

This was Razgatlioglu’s second offence of the season, which brought a grid sanction instead of the official warning issued to Johann Zarco. Zarco’s comparable incident was treated as a first offence and resulted in a warning.

Razgatlioglu had qualified 19th. With Aleix Espargaro withdrawing from the Grand Prix, the three-place sanction effectively costs him two positions and leaves him last on the starting grid.

The starting penalty comes while the Turkish rider is already facing a demanding physical test. He dislocated his shoulder on Friday and is still dealing with pain and reduced strength. After finishing the Sprint 19th with the help of painkillers, he now has to manage the full 27-lap Grand Prix distance.

Pecco Bagnaia, Aleix Espargaro and Fermin Aldeguer also received official warnings during the same weekend, each for a first offence involving yellow-flag conditions.
