Fabio Quartararo’s expected move to Honda for the 2027 MotoGP season could also change the sponsor on his side of the garage. Honda is expected to bring Red Bull back as a major factory-team partner, and Quartararo is likewise expected to move from Monster to Red Bull. The change could be visible as early as the post-season Valencia test on 1 December, although it has not been confirmed.

The Frenchman has worked with Monster since entering MotoGP in 2019 with Petronas SRT Yamaha. That relationship continued after his move to the factory Yamaha team in 2021, when Monster was the squad’s title sponsor. Quartararo took all 11 of his premier-class victories and won the 2021 world championship while carrying the brand. If the switch goes ahead, 2027 will therefore be his first MotoGP season without Monster sponsorship.

A previous Honda connection returns

Red Bull already had a strong presence with Honda’s factory team, especially during Marc Márquez’s dominant period. That partnership ended when Márquez left Honda at the end of 2023 for Gresini Ducati, taking Red Bull with him as a personal sponsor. A renewed Honda–Red Bull relationship would therefore reshape the sponsorship picture around Quartararo as he arrives at the manufacturer.

The wider sponsor market is shifting too. Monster is expected to become Aprilia’s title sponsor in 2027, while its future relationship with Yamaha remains unclear. Jorge Martín, who is linked to Red Bull, is expected to move to Yamaha. There has also been speculation that a Ducati line-up featuring Pedro Acosta and Marc Márquez from 2027 could give Red Bull an opening to form a new partnership with the Italian team.
