Marco Bezzecchi and Aprilia will start the 2026 MotoGP race at Misano from pole position. The Italian secured the top spot with the first lap in the circuit’s history to enter the 1m 29s range, producing it on his opening qualifying run. Marc Marquez will start second for Ducati.

Fermin Aldeguer completes the front row for Gresini on a GP25 after an impressive qualifying performance. Bezzecchi’s pole alongside Marquez in second raises the possibility of another duel between the two at Misano, after Marquez won last year’s Sprint confrontation. Fabio Di Giannantonio lost his front-row opportunity in a crash and will start row two, alongside Jorge Martin and Luca Marini.

Pedro Acosta, Franco Morbidelli and Alex Marquez make up row three. Raul Fernandez, Pol Espargaro and Fabio Quartararo are on row four, while Francesco Bagnaia is 14th, first on row five, for his final home race with Ducati. Johann Zarco and Diogo Moreira complete that row. Enea Bastianini, Joan Mir and Jack Miller occupy row six, followed by Brad Binder, Alex Rins and Toprak Razgatlioglu on row seven.

Penalties and Sprint schedule

Zarco has been handed a three-place grid penalty for impeding Bezzecchi in qualifying. Morbidelli must serve a long-lap penalty during the race after riding slowly and obstructing Enea Bastianini in Friday practice. The Misano Sprint is scheduled for 13 laps and will start at 3pm local time, or 2pm in the UK.
