MotoGP: Mandalika set to host the next 2026 round
The Indonesian Grand Prix runs from 9-11 October, with Marc Marquez two points behind Jorge Martin in the title fight.

MotoGP’s 2026 campaign moves to Mandalika, Indonesia, for its next round from Friday 9 October to Sunday 11 October. The event follows the Japanese Grand Prix at Motegi, the 16th round of the season, with Marc Marquez now just two points behind Jorge Martin in the championship battle.
Marquez took a double victory at Motegi and sharply reduced Martin’s advantage. Marco Bezzecchi finished third in Japan, but he and Pedro Acosta are both at risk of losing contact with the two riders at the front of the title fight. Last year’s Indonesian weekend adds another layer to the return: Bezzecchi won the Sprint before colliding with Marquez in the Grand Prix. Marquez suffered shoulder injuries and missed the remainder of the season.
Fermin Aldeguer, then a Gresini rookie, won last year’s Indonesian Grand Prix. The other Ducati riders struggled with the special heat-resistant rear tyre, while Marquez managed only sixth place in the Sprint. Aprilia will be looking to respond when the championship arrives back at Mandalika.
Indonesian Grand Prix schedule
