2026 Indonesian MotoGP: Mandalika schedule and viewing options
Round 17 runs from 9-11 October, with the Sprint on Saturday and the Grand Prix on Sunday.

Mandalika hosts round 17 of the 2026 MotoGP World Championship from Friday 9 October to Sunday 11 October. The Sprint is set for Saturday, with the main race on Sunday, in a weekend shaped both by the title fight and by demanding tyre conditions.
Marc Marquez arrives in Indonesia having cut Jorge Martin’s championship lead to two points with a double victory at Motegi. Marco Bezzecchi finished third in Japan and, like Pedro Acosta, is at risk of losing further ground to the leading pair. At last year’s event, Bezzecchi won the Sprint from pole before colliding with Marquez in the Grand Prix, while Fermin Aldeguer won the race.
Mandalika timetable
- Friday 9 October: FP1 at 10:45 and Practice at 15:00 local time.
- Saturday 10 October: FP2 at 10:10, qualifying at 10:50 and the Sprint at 15:00.
- Sunday 11 October: warm-up at 10:40 and the Grand Prix at 15:00.
For viewers in the UK, those sessions start at 3:45 and 8:00 on Friday, 3:10, 3:50 and 8:00 on Saturday, and 3:40 and 8:00 on Sunday, in the same order. The official MotoGP Video Pass streams every session live. A full-season pass costs €148.99 with Timing Pass or €139.99 without live data; the monthly option is €29.99.
What to watch on track
Heat management will be central to the weekend. Ducati’s riders struggled last year with the special heat-resistant rear tyre, while Marquez was only sixth in the Sprint after a long-lap penalty. Aprilia is expected to seek a response at Mandalika. In the UK, TNT Sports carries every MotoGP session as well as all Moto2 and Moto3 sessions, with packages through HBO Max starting at £27.99 per month, depending on the plan.
