Triumph is extending its UK dealer network with South Downs Triumph, a new dealership being developed in Petersfield, Hampshire. The facility is intended to serve riders across Hampshire and Surrey, while South Downs Motorcycles extends and upgrades its existing showroom to take on the official Triumph operation.

South Downs Motorcycles is part of the family-owned Winchester Motor Group. Its team is expected to grow as the new business develops, with General Manager Chris Cooke currently at the helm. South Downs Triumph will carry Triumph’s complete motorcycle range and will also handle sales of used motorcycles alongside new-bike sales.

Sales, servicing and parts under one roof

The dealership will provide servicing and parts support in addition to new and used motorcycle sales. Cooke says he has spent more than 20 years in the motorcycle industry and has been part of the Triumph family since 2011. He describes the venture as an important project for South Downs, with the aim of giving Triumph customers in the area a complete retail and aftersales experience.

The Hampshire expansion adds to Triumph’s broader retail presence. The manufacturer has more than 950 dealerships across 68 countries. During its financial year from July 2024 to June 2025, Triumph sold 141,683 motorcycles worldwide, marking a record sales result for the company. The Petersfield operation will therefore add another local sales and support point to an already extensive international network.
