Ducati brings its racing identity to a new RIB
The Pirelli and SACS Marine collaboration will be unveiled at the 2026 Cannes Yachting Festival, along with the motorcycle behind its design.

Ducati is taking its brand onto the water with Pirelli and SACS Marine, creating a new RIB for the Pirelli Speedboats range. The project is intended to celebrate Ducati’s 100th anniversary and will carry elements of the motorcycle manufacturer’s design language and racing identity into the marine world.
The boat uses the existing Pirelli Speedboats range as its basis. That range is produced through Pirelli’s long-running partnership with Italian marine manufacturer SACS Marine, a collaboration that has lasted more than 20 years and has focused mainly on high-performance maxi-RIBs. For this project, Ducati’s Centro Stile has developed a special livery and additional design details. Ducati also says its racing heritage has shaped the boat’s lines, colours and other visual elements.
The motorcycle behind the design is still secret
The most distinctive missing piece is the identity of the Ducati that inspired the boat. The company describes it as one of its most exclusive motorcycles, but has not named the model or released further technical information about the RIB.
The full project is scheduled to appear publicly at the 2026 Cannes Yachting Festival, which runs from 8 to 13 September. The event is expected to disclose the result of the three-way Italian collaboration as well as the motorcycle that guided the boat’s design direction.
Ducati is presenting the project as a combination of three distinct areas of expertise. Ducati contributes its design and performance perspective, Pirelli brings its motorsport connection, and SACS Marine provides experience from the nautical sector. Ducati CEO Claudio Domenicali said the companies share a pursuit of excellence, a desire to push beyond established limits and uncompromising attention to detail.
The RIB is another example of Ducati extending its identity beyond motorcycles, following earlier activity in areas including automotive collaborations such as its relationship with Lamborghini. For now, however, the announcement says more about the boat’s visual direction than its engineering. The important technical details remain reserved for the Cannes presentation.
