CFMoto sold 196,400 internal-combustion motorcycles in the first six months of 2026, an increase of 30.62% over the same period a year earlier. Its business outside China expanded at a faster pace, making international markets an increasingly important part of the company’s growth story.

Overseas markets set the pace

Approximately 98,000 motorcycles were sold abroad. International volumes rose 37.45% year on year, while revenue from overseas motorcycle sales increased by 40.41%. In practical terms, close to half of CFMoto’s motorcycle sales during the half-year came from outside its home market.

CFMoto attributes part of that performance to a broader middleweight and larger-capacity range, highlighting the 450MT, 675SR, 800MT and 1000MT-X in its half-year report. North America is a stated focus, while the company says it is strengthening its dealer network in Europe and widening its middleweight and large-capacity offering there.

The first half also brought the 125AURA, 150SC-F, 500SR, 550CL-C, 800MT-ES and 1000MT-X. Together, the launches give CFMoto coverage across commuter scooters, performance-oriented models, cruisers and adventure motorcycles.

China and the wider financial picture

The domestic operation remained substantial. CFMoto sold 98,400 motorcycles in China, generating RMB 1.685 billion in domestic motorcycle revenue. The company reports a 24.34% share of China’s manual motorcycle market above 200cc, calculated from compulsory insurance data.

Across the wider business, revenue reached RMB 13.39 billion, up 35.82% year on year. Net profit attributable to shareholders rose 6.26% to RMB 1.06 billion. CFMoto also says it has more than 9,000 retail outlets worldwide and sells products in over 100 countries and regions. Visordown reports that the figures come from CFMoto’s 2026 half-year report, published in August.
