BMW Motorrad delivered 202,563 motorcycles worldwide in 2025
BMW Motorrad remained above 200,000 annual deliveries for a fourth consecutive year, with the R 1300 GS Adventure and R 1300 GS ranking first and second among its highest-volume models.

BMW Motorrad delivered 202,563 motorcycles to customers worldwide in 2025, marking the fourth consecutive year in which the company exceeded 200,000 deliveries. December added 15,109 motorcycles and became the brand’s third-best December historically.
Europe remained the largest region
BMW Motorrad sold 118,814 motorcycles in Europe during 2025, a slight increase compared with the previous year. Germany was its strongest individual market worldwide, with 25,516 motorcycles sold, while the Central Europe region reached a new high of 12,248 units.
The company also reported record results in Italy, Spain, Japan, Australia, Portugal, Canada, Malaysia and the Netherlands. In Germany, BMW Motorrad said its market share above 500 cc increased by 4.1 percentage points.
The leading models
The R 1300 GS Adventure was BMW Motorrad’s highest-volume model in 2025, with 33,570 units sold. The R 1300 GS followed with 32,555, while the S 1000 RR ranked third among the highest-volume models listed, with 11,643 sales.
BMW Motorrad attributed part of its 2025 performance to the launches of the R 1300 RT, R 1300 R and R 1300 RS. The company also said the R 1300 GS Adventure, introduced a year earlier, made a considerable contribution to sales, while the R 12 G/S exceeded expectations in its launch year.
A broader contribution beyond large-capacity models
The middleweight class reached 41,166 sales in 2025, up from the previous year, with BMW Motorrad identifying the F 800 GS, F 900 R and F 900 GS as strong contributors. The F 450 GS had been presented as a concept bike and was due to be launched, according to the supplied results.
Urban mobility models also contributed: the C 400 GT, C 400 X, CE 04 and CE 02 together recorded more than 18,400 sales in 2025. The figures therefore cover several parts of BMW Motorrad’s range, from large adventure motorcycles and sport models to middleweights and urban mobility products.
Outside Europe, BMW Motorrad sold 14,869 motorcycles in the USA, 14,488 in Brazil and 10,555 in China during 2025.
