BS Battery SLA MAX BGZ: five new AGM batteries
The BGZ range targets large-displacement motorcycles and combines copper terminals with claimed performance gains from BS Battery.

BS Battery is expanding its SLA MAX line with five BGZ models using AGM technology. The new family is intended for large-displacement motorcycles with demanding electrical needs and numerous electronic components, placing the emphasis on starting power and battery performance under a heavier electrical load.
The main hardware feature is an integrated terminal with copper poles. BS Battery says this construction can raise conductivity by up to 50% compared with a standard terminal, while its maximum torque resistance is stated at up to 13 N·m. The batteries also use taller plates designed to improve starting power, a feature aimed at motorcycles requiring stronger starting performance.
The BGZ range is supplied ready for use and is described as maintenance-free and leak-free. Against the existing SLA line, BS Battery claims up to 20% greater starting power, service life and capacity. These are the manufacturer’s stated maximum figures; choosing the correct model will still depend on the requirements of the individual motorcycle.
